Eternity Technologies is a global manufacturer of industrial batteries, providing reliable energy solutions for motive power, reserve power and renewable energy applications. Eternity Technologies was formed by the Al Dobowi Group in 2011 with the launch of a high performance motive battery range made in the United Arab Emirates. Operational facilities were later established in Germany, Spain, South America and the USA. Eternity Technologies sells to more than 100 countries, and its quality systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
Eternity’s motive power range includes motive batteries (QUASAR, QUASAR Gel, long life, low maintenance, maintenance free and mining versions), bloc batteries, chargers, service and accessories. Eternity states that its patented QUASAR thin tube positive plate and carbon nano tube technology delivers greater charge acceptance and longer life than conventional lead acid batteries.
Its reserve power range covers OPzV and OPzS batteries, bloc batteries, front terminal batteries and an ET-LI-ION lithium iron phosphate battery module for telecom power systems, energy storage and renewable energy. Eternity also states that the lead, plastic and electrolyte in its lead acid batteries can be recycled and reused.

Lead Acid Batteries for Motive Power
Eternity’s Long Life flooded batteries come in DIN (100 to 1860Ah), BS (110 to 1512Ah) and BCI (180 to 2240Ah) sizes, and are listed for forklift trucks, electric vehicles, cleaning machines, lifting platforms and tow tractors. Mining versions are also listed. Eternity’s brochures state that low maintenance versions allow watering intervals of up to 90 days with a low maintenance pulse charging profile. Its QUASAR range uses thin tube positive plates with carbon nano tube technology in the negative plate, and Eternity states that QUASAR carbon nano motive batteries suit multi-shift, outdoor and cold storage material handling applications with up to 50% more power. Ken Research names Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru as the primary cities driving electric forklift demand in Malaysia.
Lead Acid Batteries for Reserve Power
Eternity lists OPzV gel batteries for solar and wind systems, traffic systems, hydro power, off-grid sites, telecommunications and power distribution companies, with more than 1500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and a 20 year float life at 20°C. OPzS flooded batteries are listed for solar and renewable energy, and the 2V QSRV range (500 to 3750Ah) for data centres, UPS and oil and gas.
Lithium-ion Batteries
Eternity ET-LI-ION is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) module rated 48V and 100Ah (4.8 kWh) in a 19-inch 2U format. Eternity lists it for telecom power systems, energy storage, renewable energy and hybrid power solutions, and states it has remote real-time monitoring, parallel connection of up to 16 units, and 4000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge at 25°C.
Energy storage
Eternity lists its QSRV range for grid storage, energy storage, mini grids, peak shaving and frequency regulation. It lists its OPzV, OPzS, OGi and lithium batteries for renewable and solar energy storage, battery backup power systems and hybrid systems. Eternity states that over 500 MWh of its solar batteries were installed in 2022 and 2023. Malaysia’s government has said that all solar projects under its sixth Large Scale Solar round (LSS6) must be paired with battery storage, and Johor’s Southern Johor Renewable Energy Corridor is planned as a hybrid solar and battery storage zone to supply data centres and large corporations.
