Sacred Sun

Sacred Sun is a global provider of energy storage solutions, specialising in batteries for telecommunications, data centres, UPS systems, renewable energy and industrial applications. Sacred Sun is the brand of Shandong Sacred Sun Power Sources Co., Ltd., a national high-tech enterprise founded in 1991 as Qufu Power Sources Factory in Shandong, China. The company was listed on the SME board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in May 2011 under stock code 002580, and its controlling shareholder is Shandong Development Group.

Over the years, Sacred Sun has built its range step by step. It developed and scaled up production of 2V AGM products in 1993, OPzV GEL batteries in 2008, and traction batteries in 2017, and it has also developed lithium-ion batteries. Sacred Sun serves network power, energy storage and motive power markets. Its products are exported to more than 130 countries and regions and installed in more than 1000 major projects worldwide.

Sacred Sun backs its products with a National Enterprise Technology Center, a Postdoctoral Research Station and a CNAS Laboratory. Its VRLA batteries are covered by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 certifications, and its lithium batteries by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with an ISO 14067 carbon footprint certificate also listed. In September 2025, its data centre energy storage lithium-ion batteries received TÜV Rheinland certification.

At EnergyHub, we supply Sacred Sun battery solutions to support reliable backup power and energy storage requirements across various industries. EnergyHub is an industrial battery supplier with branches in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang and Singapore, and we supply batteries for both motive and standby power.

Our Sacred Sun solutions are suitable for a range of industrial applications, including telecommunications, data centres, UPS systems, renewable energy storage, and other critical backup power requirements.

Why Choose Sacred Sun? Sacred Sun’s range covers the same applications we support for our customers: telecommunications, data centres, UPS systems and energy storage. We supply it for backup power and energy storage requirements, and we back it with EnergyHub’s battery services across our four branches.

Why Sacred Sun?

Sacred Sun provides Lead Acid, Lithium-ion and BESS products, and it matches specific series to specific industries.

Lead Acid Batteries

Sacred Sun lists its AGM SPG, SP, HRL, UPS-FTA and GFMG series for UPS, EPS and data centres, and its FT, GFM-C, FTJ, HTB and GFM-H series for telecom sites on stable and semi stable grids. For unstable telecom grids, power utilities, rail transit and oil and gas, it lists OPzV GEL batteries, alongside the FMJ and GFMJ GEL series. For solar, wind and other renewable energy storage it lists the SAJ, SDC and DCS series, and for motive power it lists the DM series for electric vehicles and the E-Trek series for forklifts and golf cars.

Lithium-ion Batteries

Sacred Sun lists lithium-ion batteries for 5G sites, telecom sites on semi stable and unstable grids, high voltage UPS, energy storage and forklifts. Its 48V telecom modules range from 10Ah to 200Ah, and Sacred Sun states that, compared with a VRLA battery of the same capacity, they have lower load-bearing requirements, which saves installation space. Its 5G battery has IP65 protection and an operating range of -40°C to +55°C.

BESS

Sacred Sun’s residential ESS combines a photovoltaic unit, an energy storage unit and an inverter unit. Its commercial and industrial high voltage packs support peak shaving, load shifting, emergency back-up and demand response, and its centralized storage systems provide peak load shifting and frequency modulation for the grid side. Its high voltage ESS modules are stackable from 15.36kWh to 2MWh and are UL1973 and UL9540A certified.

Sacred Sun’s VRLA and lithium-ion batteries are covered by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, and its products are exported to more than 130 countries and regions.
