This adds SolaX’s low-voltage (LV) hybrid inverter and LFP battery range to our product portfolio, with a primary focus on residential energy storage and additional support for commercial applications.

Company Background

SolaX Power was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company is a global leader in photovoltaic energy storage solutions and pioneered Asia’s first energy storage inverter in 2013. EnergyHub as SolaX’s Distributor

EnergyHub is the official distributor of SolaX energy storage inverters and LFP batteries. Products are sourced directly from SolaX, ensuring authenticity and full manufacturer warranty coverage for all units supplied through EnergyHub. This gives customers confidence that the systems they purchase are genuine, properly certified, and backed by manufacturer support.

The X1-HYB LV Hybrid Inverter

The X1-HYB LV is SolaX’s single-phase, low-voltage hybrid inverter series, available in power ratings from 3.0kW to 6.0kW, built for residential solar and battery storage. A hybrid inverter of this kind manages the flow of power between solar panels, the battery, and the home or grid, converting DC energy from solar panels into usable AC power while directing surplus energy into storage. Key specifications of the X1-HYB LV include:

  • 2 MPP trackers with a maximum DC input current of 16A per tracker, allowing the inverter to track and optimize output from multiple solar strings independently
  • 200% PV oversizing capability with up to 110% AC output, allowing a larger solar array to be connected than the inverter’s rated capacity
  • 200% peak EPS (emergency power supply) output for 10 seconds, supporting short bursts of higher demand during a power outage
  • Maximum charging and discharging current of 120A
  • Single-unit UPS-level switchover time of under 4 milliseconds
  • IP65 ingress protection and Type II surge protection on the AC and DC sides

LFP Battery Storage for the LV Platform

SolaX’s residential batteries use LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry paired with an intelligent Battery Management System, offering safety, efficiency, and extended lifespan. SolaX states these batteries have a lifespan of over 6,000 cycles, and that LFP chemistry provides superior thermal stability, reducing overheating and fire risk compared to other lithium-ion chemistries. The batteries are modular and expandable, allowing capacity to scale with household energy needs over time, and support remote monitoring and smart diagnostics.

Within the LV product line specifically, SolaX’s official catalog lists dedicated LV battery series, including the T-BAT-SYS-LV-R25 and T-BAT-SYS-LV-R36 ranges, designated as LFP systems built to pair with LV hybrid inverters such as the X1-HYB LV.

Residential and Commercial Applications

SolaX designs its hybrid inverters and batteries for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale use. EnergyHub’s focus with this partnership is primarily residential, given the X1-HYB LV’s single-phase, home-scale power range. The same LFP battery and LV inverter technology also extends to smaller commercial properties, and EnergyHub can assess site suitability for commercial projects as part of the standard consultation process.
