SolaX Power Solar & Energy Storage Solutions
SolaX Power is a solar and energy storage company headquartered in Hangzhou, China. SolaX Power is the brand of SolaX Power Network Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., which was founded in 2012. On 3 January 2024, the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market under stock code 688717.
SolaX Power’s history is built around energy storage inverters. In 2013, it released its first generation X-Hybrid inverter, which SolaX describes as Asia’s first energy storage inverter, and in the same year it established a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. It has since established subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany, Australia and the United States.

Why Solax Power?
SolaX Power provides hybrid inverters, energy storage batteries and energy storage systems (ESS) for solar, and it lists each range for residential or commercial and industrial (C&I) use.
Hybrid Inverters
SolaX’s X3-ULTRA is a three-phase hybrid inverter for commercial and industrial use, available in 15kW, 19.9kW, 20kW, 25kW and 30kW models. It supports up to 10 units in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid systems, and 200% PV oversizing for 100% AC output and battery storage. For backup, it has a switchover time of under 10 ms and a peak EPS output of 2 times rated power for 10 seconds. It is rated IP66 and is VPP ready, with compatibility including OpenADR and IEEE 2030.5.
Energy Storage Batteries
SolaX’s T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 is a high voltage LFP battery system built from 2.5kWh modules, scaling from 5.1kWh (2 modules) to 33.2kWh (13 modules), with a maximum charge/discharge current of 50A and IP65 protection. The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 uses 3.6kWh modules, covering the T-BAT HS7.2 to T-BAT HS46.8 range. For smaller systems, the T-BAT-SYS-HV-3.0 uses LFP battery cells with a cycle life of more than 6000 cycles, from the T-BAT H 3.0 to the T-BAT H 12.0.
Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
SolaX’s ESS-AELIO is a hybrid C&I ESS cabinet rated at 50kW or 60kW, with 100kWh, 143kWh or 200kWh of battery capacity. It supports 200% PV oversizing, works in grid-tied and off-grid scenarios, and integrates SolaX’s self-developed EMS and BMS with LFP 280Ah cells, with up to 10 units in parallel for capacity up to 4MWh. The ESS-TRENE C&I cabinet comes in an air-cooled 100kW / 215kWh version and a liquid-cooled 125kW / 261kWh version. SolaX lists TRENE for peak shaving, demand response, backup mode and PV and storage integration. The liquid-cooled version uses 314Ah LFP cells, with a cycle life of 8000 or more and a maximum efficiency of 98%.
